Ever say to yourself...

WOW, this is a great YouTube video...but, there are so many ads!

I only want to show a part of this video, I wish I could edit it down. 

NOW YOU CAN!

PART 1: Create a safe link to view and share with your class.

Step 1: Find the video you want on YouTube. 

Step 2: Copy the web address.

Step 3: Go to SafeShare.tv and paste in the link.

Step 4: Click on "Take me to the safe view" 

Now you're ready to view and share your safe link! 

(Bookmark or save your video links in a Google Doc - they do not save otherwise.)

PART 2: Create a shortened video clip to view and share with your class.

Step 1: Click on "Customize video."

Step 2: Click on the link labeled "Full."

Step 3: Select a "starting point" and an "ending point."(The video defaults to start from the beginning and end at the end, you can clip it any way you want to.)

Once you have edited your video's start and end times, click "OK," and it will bring you back to select your video's link. Click "Take me to the safe view." 

(Again, Bookmark or save your video links in a Google Doc - they do not save otherwise.)

Now you're ready to view and share your edited safe link!
